Trauma-Informed Care: Beyond the Buzzword

Cultivating and encouraging spaces of healing and action.

Our survivor created trauma informed care (TIC) training is designed to equip individuals, professionals, and organizations with the knowledge and skills to support those impacted by trauma.

Too often, trauma-informed care is reduced to a buzzword used for optics rather than engaging with and encouraging real change. This training is designed to be truly different, ensuring trauma-informed care is not simply talked about, but truly implemented in meaningful, survivor-centered ways.

Through our three level program, participants will gain foundational insights, practical applications, and leadership strategies to create trauma-responsive environments that encourage safety, trust, and empowerment. Rooted in survivor-led design, practical application, and systemic accountability, the training ensures that TIC is not just theoretical, but a real, impactful shift in how organizations, businesses, and communities think and operate.

Level 1: Is an introductory course laying out the foundation for understanding trauma and its impact, offering key principles for cultivating and encouraging safe and supportive interactions.

Level 2: Moves beyond awareness, providing hands-on training for the application of trauma-informed care in professional and volunteer settings.

Level 3: Focuses on leadership and systemic change, equipping organizations, businesses, and communities with how to integrate trauma-responsive policies and advocacy into their daily culture.

Whether you're new to trauma-informed care or looking to implement lasting change within your community, this training provides the tools to make necessary changes for long-term meaningful impact within your community.
